I always remember fun and laughter when Auntie Margot was around at the White House in Surrey many moons ago. It was always a pleasure when she came to stay. A lovely lady, sorely missed. Love to the family

Happy memories of good friendship and especially of time spent together in Bavaria; walking in the Alps, looking for wild flowers, Fasching fun, exploring München’s hostelries and many more. Margot's face always shone with her lovely smile.

My beautiful Aunty Margot. The most elegant and classy lady I have met with an infectious smile to boot. I will treasure my memories of our shopping trips in Munich when I was only 4 and our stays at your house ( I was always so impressed by your beautiful crockery and the size of uncle Rob’s cereal bowl which was still always overflowing!) We spent a lovely evening having dinner together the night before my wedding and was beyond proud of you doing a beautiful reading for us on our special day. Rest in peace now, we will ensure the stories about beautiful Aunty Margot continue with Rosie and Charlie xxxx

Margot will always have a very special place in my heart. She welcomed us into her family from the first time we became part of her life. I have so many happy memories of our time spent together. Margot was such a wonderful person to be around, loving, kind, generous and fun. A truly special, beautiful lady in every sense of the word. I will never forget you, With my love.

One of my favourite memories of you was during our tour in Munich with NAMMA during the Knockerberg Dark Beerfest. As part of the advance party and following a few Maz the strain began to show when a vision appeared in the doorway, it was the boss and his beautiful wife Margot who had draped over her arm a large picnic basket. On approaching the table the cheers went up from a hungry tipsy crowd. Margot made it clear to all that the picnic was for her boys (the advance party). This is just one of many happy memories of a special lady. I salute you Margot and thank you for all the help and support you have given to me and my family. RIP

I remember when you and Rob looked after me when you lived in Rosenheim, i still have the scrap book reminding me of when of all the pkaces you took me including when you took me to the ice hockey and I remember you teaching me how to play Mahjong late into the night (even though im sure you let me cheat to win). I will always have the memories of all the places you took me around Bavaria. Also the funny picture of us flying over your house while you took a picture of us .. taking a picture of you.. You were one in a million and will be very dearly missed but never forgotten. Rest in Peace.

Margot was a very dear and special friend. We first met at EEV over forty years ago, went our separate ways, and then met up again by chance 10 years ago at a German class at AgeUK, my lucky day! Margot was unique, warm, caring, kind, thoughtful, nonjudgmental, such a beautiful person who will be so sadly missed.

Margot was a lovely neighbour when we lived at Scampton and a great inspiration. I’m glad we kept in touch after we moved. Family was important to Margot as Warren and Ross will testify. I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
